Assignment 8A: Solving the Problem

Problem:
Earbuds are constantly being tangled, and they are a hassle to untangle each time they are taken out of backpacks, purses, pockets, etc.

Possible Solutions:

  • Product that allows you to put your headphones into this circular device, similar to that of the mechanism people use to attach their IDs to, and you can pull on it and the string inside the circular device unravels. When you are done with earbuds, you give them a tug and they ravel neatly back into the circular device. Below is the ID device I am referring to:

  • Product that you can wrap your earbuds around, and has indents for you to lock in both ends of the earbuds. It would take just a few seconds to wrap the cord around this plastic device, and just secure the ends onto to prevent the earbuds from becoming loose in your bag.

  1. Perla,
I think this is such a cool and very necessary idea. I always have this problem, but I fixed it by getting wireless earbuds, however, this can be a much cheaper alternative than buying those expensive wireless ones. The idea of it scrolling up to avoid tangling is awesome, you just have to make sure to maintain a good quality headphone, and make sure the scroller is made well-enough to last.
